There are people out there who are experts and influencers. We are neither. So, we turn to them to help us drop that Crack Wise-dom and funformation.
Chantelle Malarkey is a celebrity mompreneur (fancy) and a beauty/lifestyle expert (all the wise) who dropped on us some fun ideas for the 4th of July.
If you’re looking for festive, fun, and fabulous for your celebration, then this recipe hits.
The Flag that We Love
Starting with a large serving tray or a charcuterie board works well too-- roughly 21″ by 12″. (I prefer white or wood color)- on a budget? They actually have great trays and platters at the dollar store and/or Ross, TJ Maxx or Marshalls Also grabbing a medium size bowl that matches with your board
RED: 2 Pounds cut strawberries (I’ve made one for the kids with red vines too which turns out cute
WHITE: Large bag or 2 of Yogurt Dipped Pretzels, white chocolate raisins or almonds work great too, or 1-2 bags of popcorn
BLUE: In your bowl, fill it up with about 1-1.5 pounds of blueberries.
Place your bowl in the top left corner of your board - add your BLUE to the bowl - then start from the bottom with your RED Layer then WHITE Layer - do this 2x each to the top and you should be golden!
