What’s in a name? Apparently, a lot! To us, Senreve is just a cool name. But it’s really so much more.
Senreve is derived from the French words for “sense” and “dream”. Of course. Pretentious and glorious in all its Frenchy nature. This handbag brand was built on, and we quote:
“The coexistence of dichotomies: everyday and fantasy, tradition and innovation, design and versatility—creating an elevated experience that defines trade-offs. We believe women are multifaceted and can have it all—no compromise necessary.”
So these handbags will make us feel all superhero-y?
Looks like a streamlined fanny pack, if you ask us unrefined Americans.
Senreve also has a penchant for the puss—octopus. And we quote again:
“The octopus symbolizes diversity, intelligence, insight, complexity, vision, and versatility—characteristics that remind us of today’s woman. Like octopi, women are simultaneously juggling many roles, identities, and responsibilities.
We can't take all the symbolism!
We actually do get the whole octopi thing. Because it would cost eight arms and legs to afford this… fashion. We’ll stick to Charming Charlie and Kohl’s.
