There is nothing more irritating than when you can’t get a song out of your head. Especially if it’s bad or cheesy. But “Good” from Twin XL is worth the irritation. Because it’s… good.
This may be their debut single, but they’re no newbies. Twin XL is the brainchild of songwriters/producers Cameron Walker, Stephen Gomez, and John Gomez. The dudes cut their musical teeth in other bands, would run into each other at random gigs and events, and eventually decided to hang in the studio one day and see what became of it.
Glad it happened. “Good” has a Fitz and The Tantrums feel: Upbeat. Finger-tappy. Head-noddy.
The tune broke with help from shows like The Resident on FOX, Hulu’s Light as a Feather and Ex on the Beach on MTV.
Feelin’ “good” now…
P.S. Thank goodness this story is complete. Or we would've attempted to use "good" more often...
