In these unprecedented times, we’re all facing the same things: anxiety, uncertainty, finding normalcy, searching for answers.
Music has the power to unite us; to soothe us; to make us stronger.
“We’re All in This Together” is an anthem for the times from the band Ravenwood.
A band known for its message of triumph over adversity, this is a much needed message of hope.
Don’t give up. Let's rock this COVID outta here...
Hopefully, you’ve had that feeling at least once in your life. And hopefully, it will stick for that “forever” love kind of thing.
That could be the point of the song “Drug” from Simple Creatures. Or it could be about that one summer where you just lost your mind and did a bunch of crazy stuff. Or maybe a little of column A and a little of column B.
We wondered why this song is so on-point from a band we hadn’t heard of. When you take two alt rock powerhouses and put them together, you get magic. Mark and Alex are pals and were in between projects with blink-182 and All Time Low, respectively, so why not get together and make some sounds?
For real, this song is addicting.
Aside: We love band photos. Especially ones like this where the photog makes each member look... somewhere. Props to ol' boy in the back (beardo) who's just looking up. LOL
They’ve been kickin’ around for a decade and they can’t be stopped. Canadian band (we won’t hold their nation of origin against them) Mother Mother is following up their popularity—41 million streams—with a new album entitled: Dance and Cry.
Their tune “Get Up” is reminiscent of “Werewolves of London” with the howling.
And again, army boots + alt music = life. Not sure we’d wear a bathing suit with said army boots. It’s kind of counter-productive, don’t you think? Like jeans and a tank top; flip flops and socks...
Haus of V is a creative collective that shares a similar mindset -- with a twist.
