If this is a monster, we want to be scared. Really. Monsta X is one of the K Pop machine’s finest creations. The frightening thing here is how scary-good the music is. Pop perfection. The perfect image The perfect look. “You Can’t Hold My Heart” is another single that has Monbebes (the nickname for fans of the band) all quivering with love…
We just want to sit around with these boys and give each facial masks, and manis and watch Netflix.
They’re supposed to do a string of North American dates in June. That damned Coronavirus better be sent packin’ by then. But we have a feeling nothing can come between Monbebes and their bae.
There comes a point between now and December 31st when you just can’t take another Christmas tune. Like, someone might get homicide-ed if you hear sleigh bells and ho, ho, ho.
Let’s clean out those ear canals and freshen those eyes with some bright and sparkly K-Pop.
Take a look and listen to Monsta X “Middle of the Night”. They just want some love. Look at those sad, pretty faces…
Oh the weather outside is frightful/But the K-Pop is so delightful…
When we first saw the name Monsta X, we thought this artist was a rapper. Or this was a new product Monistat product for the super-yeast infection.
We were so wrong on both fronts. Monsta X is a K-Pop group. For those of you unfamiliar, K-Pop is short for “Korean Pop” music. Since Crack Wise Editor-in-Chief Kathy Vogel has some Korean flavoring in her gene pool, we were excited to know these cuties have released their first all-English single “Shoot Out”.
These boys can sing, rap and dance. Here’s the official video. Sorry, it’s not in English. But what’s cool is that you can appreciate the song, vocals and instrumentation without knowing what in the af they’re saying.
“Walker walker walker growling”
