Twenty One Pilots is a pretty friggin’ cool band. The music rocks. And, they know it’s all about their fans—which have been deemed the “Skeleton Clique”.
The Clique was front and center with a contest in partnership with Creative Allies to design tour posters. Nearly 30,000 fans participated. Winning artists scored $250, two tickets to the Bandito Tour, an autographed merchandise pack, and recognition on social media. One grand prize winner scored an all-expenses-paid trip to the band’s hometown Columbus, Ohio, show and a meet-and-greet.
Sebastian Kowoll was the big winner. “I'm at a point in life where I have gained some confidence with my art, but there were a LOT of submissions and many amazing ones. So being chosen as the winner is a super humbling, validating and truly rewarding experience.”
Well said. We would’ve said: “Suck my paint brush, bitches.”
