We stood up and applauded the beverage trend of adding alcohol to milkshakes, and making them so outrageous in its composition that we instantly gained a pant-size just looking at one of those crunk-coctions. That's one of the best examples of "adulting" that’s actually fun. Now a new trend—improving cereal milk. We loved cereal milk as a kid because it trapped all the sugar and made for the tastiest, insulin overload, drive-your-parents-insane high… ever. Props to Executive Chef Joey Maggiore, owner and co-founder of breakfast hot spot Hash Kitchen in Arizona, for not letting one single drop of cereal milk go to waste. We’re assuming Chef Joey is crafting the cereal milk and not recycling said milk from customers’ left-behinds. Vurp. On the menu at Hash Kitchen: Fruity Pebble Pancakes with fruity pebble infused pancake batter, crème en glace (that’s fancy French for custard), and cereal milk whip. Say what!?!? That’s nice. But let’s get to good stuff. This: For those of legal drinking age: Cereal Shooters. Did we just hear some angels sing? Flavors include: Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Fruity Pebbles, Captain Crunch, and Cocoa Puffs. Give us a Cereal Chooter flight! Thank goodness for Hash Kitchen. They’ve got two locations: Scottsdale and Chandler. Not only can you nosh on nouveau nibbles, you can shake off those calories to an in-house DJ (on weekends). And if you happen to find yourself slightly hungover from some extracurricular activities, the breakfast spot boasts the biggest Build Your Own Bloody Mary Bar in the entire state of Arizona. Road trip, anyone? Comments are closed.
