What we’re talking about here is the classroom. Schoolgirl Style Makeover My Classroom Contest will award two grand prize winners the opportunity to have their rooms styled by Melanie Ralbusky, founder of Schoolgirl Style. The prize package, valued at $5,000 includes unique and fashionable décor, select teaching supplies and furniture pieces, decorative accents and a newly painted classroom interior.

The makeovers—which are open to any teacher in the U.S.—will be awarded in June and August. Just in time for the new school year! Six runners-up will receive a Lakeshore Schoolgirl Style décor bundle and $100 Lakeshore e-gift card.

Teachers need to submit an essay that describes why they need a room makeover, and how they create an inspired learning environment for their students, as well as provide a current photo of their classroom. Entries will be judged on content and clarity of expression, creativity, and image quality.
