Thank you, Hembree, for stickin’ something fresh yet throwback in our ears. Their single “Culture” mixes rhythm, old-school rock, and a dash of hip-hop with disinterested yet haunting vocals.
Frontman Issac Flynn gives us insight into “Culture”. “These days we put so much emphasis on things that lack actual significance. Everything is urgent and I wanted to try to capture this urgency in a song and question what we prioritize. It’s about taking the time to stop and reflect; to think for yourself and establish your own opinions. The song also touches on the lengths people go to for status and power. There’s a realization that these qualities don’t actually equal happiness. Thus, ‘the king of the culture is never really free.’”

Now get this:
P.S. In the band photo, love the first dude's (with the glasses) expression. It's like he's thinking: "Take the damn picture, would ya?" LOL
Haus of V is a creative collective that shares a similar mindset -- with a twist.
