There are times when we need to just ease into the day. Maybe Mondays are rough for you. Or perhaps, you over-indulged in the anti-oxidant benefits of “the grape”. Whatever the reason, a nice instrumental selection could be the panacea you’ve been listening for.
American composer, pianist, and producer Christopher James has released his latest album, Grace from Persistence. The title was inspired by a film James watched about the Native American’s belief about the Saguaro cactus.
“Each of these Saguaros is considered to be a unique individual, surviving on its own despite nature’s extremes,” said James. “The Saguaro cactus’ state of grace is achieved through indefatiguable determination to defy all odds through persistence, if you will – and the existence of this physical and spiritual icon serves as a metaphor for our word. The deluge of assaults on humanity and nature is unending, but our resoluteness to survive as a human race must not be diminished or compromised.”
