Drink Recipe of the Week: The Breakup CocktailIngredients: 1 oz bourbon 1/2 oz creme cacao 1 oz lemon juice 1 egg white What to do: In a shaker, mix bourbon, creme cacao, lemon juice and an egg white. Shake well. Once everything is mixed, add ice and shake again. Pour into glass over ice. Top with shaved dark chocolate. Drank! Drink Recipe of the Week: Apple MargaritaIngredients: Lime wedge and salt for rim 2 ounces tequila 1 ounce apple schnapps ¾ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice ½ ounce orange liqueur ¼ ounce agave Ice Lime wheel for garnish What to do: To prepare rim, rub the rim of the glass with the lime wedge. With the salt on a saucer, dip either half or the entire rim of the glass in the salt to coat. In a cocktail shaker, add ice, tequila, apple schnapps, lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave. Shake to chill. Strain into prepared glass over fresh ice. Garnish with lime wheel. Draaaank! Drink Recipe of the Week: French 75 CocktailIngredients: 3 oz. gin 2 oz. fresh lemon juice 1 oz. simple syrup Ice, for shaking Sparkling wine Lemon twists, for garnish Instructions: In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, lemon juice and simple syrup. Add a few cubes of ice, then cover and shake for 10-20 seconds until well chilled. Strain the mixture and divide evenly into two champagne flutes. Drink Recipe of the Week: A Winter SnowflakeIngredients: 1 tbs. white chocolate chips 1 tbs. caramel sauce 1 tsp. vanilla extract ½ cup skim milk (you can also use non-dairy milk) 2 oz. Baileys Irish Cream Optional: whipped cream and ground cinnamon for topping Instructions: Stir the chocolate, caramel, vanilla, milk and Baileys together in a microwave-safe mug or glass. Heat in the microwave for 60-90 seconds until piping hot. Remove from the microwave and stir to make sure all the chocolate and caramel has thoroughly melted. Drink Recipe of the Week: Gingerbread MartiniIngredients: 1 ounce Gingerbread Syrup 1 ½ ounces vodka 1 ounce half and half Sprinkles or brown sugar, for the rim (optional) What to do: Prepare the rim: Place the sprinkles or sugar on a plate. Wet the rim of the glass, then roll the rim in the sprinkles or sugar until evenly coated. Shake the drink: Place the gingerbread syrup, vodka, and half and half in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake until cold. Strain the drink into the prepared martini glass. Santa approves!
