Drink Recipe of the Week: Delete That TextIngredients: 4 fresh blackberries 1 ounce vodka 1 ounce gin 1/2 ounce elderflower liqueur 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed Garnish: rosemary sprig, lemon peel What to do: Muddle the blackberries in a shaker. Add the vodka, gin, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice, fill with ice, and shake until well-chilled. Double-strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and lemon peel. Drink Recipe of the Week: The Best Chocolate MartiniIngredients: 1 ½ ounces vodka 1 ½ ounce white creme de cacao ½ ounce Baileys ½ ounce heavy cream 1 teaspoon simple syrup 1 teaspoon cocoa powder Grated chocolate, for the garnish What to do: Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. Fill it with 2 handfuls ice and shake it until cold. Strain into a martini or cocktail glass. If desired, garnish with grated chocolate. Drink it up! Drink Recipe of the Week: Golden DreamIngredients: 3/4 ounce premium triple sec 3/4 ounce Galliano L'Autentico Liqueur 3/4 ounce cream 3/4 ounce orange juice What to do: In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, pour the triple sec, Galliano, cream, and orange juice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Sweet dreams! Conley's Next Live Show:Even though we won't get a day off from work for this one, today is a national holiday-- National Great American Pot Pie Day! Make one, order one, go out and get one. But heed Conley's advice if you're gonna make your own. Drink Recipe of the Week: Cranberry MimosaIngredients: 4 ounces cranberry juice, not cranberry juice cocktail 8 ounces sparkling wine, champagne or prosecco Sparkling sugar, for garnish Fresh cranberries, for garnish Fresh rosemary sprig, for garnish What to do: Rim two champagne glasses with a little water or simple syrup and then dip in sparking sugar. Pour ¼ cup cranberry juice in each champagne glass. Add ½ cup sparkling wine to each glass. Top with a few fresh or frozen cranberries and serve immediately. Drank! But, Conley warns, there are some things you shouldn't give away. Drink Recipe of the Week: Kiss On the LipsIngredients: 1 cup frozen mango chunks 1 1/2 ounces Malibu Rum OR flavored vodka 1 1/2 ounces peach schnapps 1 tablespoon grenadine, or to taste Maraschino cherries and pineapple, optional for garnishing What to do: To the canister of a blender, add the mango, rum or vodka, peach schnapps, and blend on high-speed to incorporate. If desired, add more mango (or ice) for a thicker consistency. Pour into a glass, drizzle with grenadine to taste, stir in the grenadine if desired or just let gravity do the work, optionally garnish with maraschino cherries and pineapple. Guzzle immediately. Drink Recipe of the Week: Long Island Iced TeaIngredients: 3/4 ounce vodka 3/4 ounce white rum 3/4 ounce silver tequila 3/4 ounce gin 3/4 ounce triple sec 3/4 ounce simple syrup 3/4 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed Cola, to top Garnish: lemon wedge What to do: Add the vodka, rum, tequila, gin, triple sec, simple syrup and lemon juice to a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with a splash of the cola and stir briefly. Garnish with a lemon wedge. Serve with a straw. Add the gin and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh cracked ice. Garnish with an apple fan, a mint sprig, and a grape. Aviation American Gin (or gin, gin) 0.5 oz. grapefruit juice 0.5 oz. lime juice 0.5 oz. simple syrup Club soda Grapefruit half wheel What to do: Combine all ingredients except club soda into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake, then strain into glass with ice. Top with club soda and garnish with grapefruit half wheel. Drink to Summer! Conley's Next Live Show:Sometimes we need some real talk about real life stuff. Drink Recipe of the Week: Pirate's BootyIngredients: 1 1/2 oz Spiced Rum 3/4 oz Coconut Rum 3 oz Pineapple Juice 1 oz Cranberry Juice 1/4 teaspoon Edible Gold Glitter Edible Gold Leaf for garnish What to do: In a cocktail shaker, add the pineapple juice, cranberry, juice, and both rums. Add in the edible gold glitter. Add in some ice. Give the cocktail shaker a good shake. Pour the drink into a tall glass. Garnish with edible gold leaf and draaaank! Also, stop doing stuff you shouldn't be doing. Right, Conley? Drink Recipe of the Week: Old FashionedIngredients: 1 scant teaspoon simple syrup 2 dashes Angostura Bitters, plus more to taste 1 half dollar–sized slice orange peel, including pith 2 ounces good-quality rye or bourbon 1 maraschino cherry What to do: In old-fashioned glass, combine simple syrup and bitters. Fill glass halfway with ice, then stir about a dozen times. Add enough ice to fill glass. Squeeze orange peel over glass to extract oils, add peel to glass, and add whiskey. Stir just until drink is cold and alcoholic bite has softened, about a dozen times. Garnish with cherry, swizzle stick, and straw. Then drink: to your youth!
