Drink Recipe of the Week: Peanut Butter Cup WhiskeyIngredients: 4 oz Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey 4 oz chocolate liqueur ( I personally love Godiva) 4 oz crème de cocoa Ice cubes 1 oz heavy cream (optional) chocolate syrup (optional) Garnish: (optional) creamy peanut butter chopped peanut butter cups chocolate syrup What to do: Place peanut butter on martini glass rims and then dip into some chopped peanut butter cups. Add a drizzle of chocolate syrup into bottom of glass. Place ice cubes into cocktail shaker. Add whiskey, chocolate liqueur, heavy cream, creme de cocoa and a squirt of chocolate syrup into cocktail shaker. Shake well and strain into 2 martini glasses. Draaaank both! Drink Recipe of the Week: Mind EraserIngredients: 2 ounces coffee liqueur 2 ounces vodka 2 ounces club soda, or lemon-lime soda What to do: Fill an old-fashioned glass with ice. Pour the coffee liqueur over the ice. Slowly pour the vodka over the ice, either so it hits an ice cube or over the back of a bar spoon. Slowly add the soda, again breaking the pour with ice or a spoon. Serve with a straw and enjoy. Drink Recipe of the Week: Drunken MonkeyIngredients: 6 ounces orange-pineapple juice blend 3 ounces coconut rum 1 ounce spiced rum 4-5 dashes bitters Fresh ground nutmeg Maraschino cherries in juices Lime slices, fresh pineapple wedges Instructions: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the juice, coconut rum, spiced rum, and 4-5 shakes of bitters. Shake for 30 seconds. Pour into 2 iced tumblers or one tall glass. Then pour in 1-2 teaspoons of cherry juice and let it settle at the bottom of the glass. Garnish with a lime slice, pineapple wedge, and a cherry. Zest fresh nutmeg over the top and serve! Drank! Drink Recipe of the Week: Figgy SparklerIngredients: 1 medium fresh or dried fig 2 orange slices, cut in half 9 fresh cranberries, divided 1 1/2 ounces vodka 4 ounces sparkling wine Orange twist, for garnish Instructions: In a cocktail shaker, muddle the fig, orange slices, and 6 cranberries with the vodka. Add ice and shake well. Strain into a Champagne flute and top with sparkling wine. Garnish with 3 cranberries and an orange twist. Serve and enjoy. Drink Recipe of the Week: French ConnectionIngredients: 1 1/2 ounces cognac 1 ounce amaretto What to do: Fill a rocks glass with ice. Add the cognac and amaretto and stir briefly to combine. Oui! Meanwhile, Conley dives into his medical journals and provides some non-traditional remedies for those swollen meat hooves. Drink Recipe of the Week: Gingerbread MartiniIngredients: 1 ounce Gingerbread Syrup 1 ½ ounces vodka 1 ounce half and half Sprinkles or brown sugar, for the rim (optional) What to do: Prepare the rim: Place the sprinkles or sugar on a plate. Wet the rim of the glass, then roll the rim in the sprinkles or sugar until evenly coated. Shake the drink: Place the gingerbread syrup, vodka, and half and half in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake until cold. Strain the drink into the prepared martini glass. Santa approves!
